--Mar 10, 6p: Oak Ridge Site Specific Advisory Board meeting, DOE Information Center, Oak Ridge, The meeting will feature an update on Building 3019 uranium-233 processing. The Building 3019 project was developed by DOE to resolve safety and security issues associated with the continued storage of U-233, primarily in the form of uranium oxides, in Building 3019. The objective is to process the U-233 inventory into a form suitable for final disposal, thereby reducing costs at ORNL and eliminating any possibility of a criticality incident.
