ETEBA Member Benefits ETEBA is a non-profit organization headquartered in East Tennessee. Its mission is to promote business opportunities for member organizations. Membership fees are very affordable and are based on the size of the company. Any commercial organization with objectives consistent with the mission of ETEBA, may become a Member. Similarly, any local, regional, or state organization or not-for-profit organization may become an Affiliate of ETEBA. Member Benefits include: 1. Group Advocacy & Representation · Advocates for issues that influence business opportunities and conditions and provides members the opportunity to participate in the development of public policy positions · Advocates for sustained or increased funding for existing programs and for new programs to come to the region · Provides a unified voice to represent the views, issues, capabilities, and concerns of members to other entities, such as safe workplaces for employees · Maintains a Government Relations Committee to meet with federal, state, and local officials · Maintains working relationships with government agencies, regulators, and elected officials to gather and disseminate pertinent budget and policy information

Networking Opportunities · Fosters interaction among member companies and between member companies and other organizations · Holds monthly dinner Membership Meetings the fourth Thursday of each month with a networking social at 5:30p, dinner at 6:30p, program at 7:30p · Conducts a widely-attended annual ETEBA Conference · Collects and provides information about other conferences and events · Holds other ETEBA special events · Provides opportunities for members to get engaged in Committees and positions on the Board of Directors
3. Information Clearinghouse for Business Issues & Opportunities · Monitors opportunities in local and external markets to ensure growth and stability of our member companies and enhancement of technical capabilities · Holds annual ETEBA Business Opportunities Conference with high-profile speakers · Provides frequent membership updates through email distributions · Provides an Events Calendar on the ETEBA website which is updated weekly and includes ETEBA, Industry, and Area Events · Publishes a quarterly newsletter · Establishes and supports workshops on business and contracting issues · Provides dynamic speakers at monthly Membership Meetings · Educates members on issues, such as Small Business contracting and affiliation rules, workplace safety, etc.

Marketing Program · Provides a World Wide Website with a Member Directory to improve visibility of the association and its members by marketing member products and services · Provides opportunity for members to post on the ETEBA Website, an individual company page that includes contact information, core capabilities, and a brief paragraph about their activities · Seeks opportunities to demonstrate that the diversity of technical talent available among its member companies represents a valuable national resource · Provides facts, information, and such assistance as may be requested, in communicating the unique capabilities of ETEBA members · Makes general referrals to organizations and companies who need energy, technology, and environmental products and services · Exhibits at various Conferences with display booths and promotional materials · Promotes collective member capabilities, adhering to strict ethics guidelines that forbid favoritism with respect to individual members · Publishes a quarterly newsletter that is sent to approximately 1200 customer prospects. · Provides a Jobs Listing section on the ETEBA website for members to post current open positions in their companies and also review resumes submitted to ETEBA.
