Education Overview
One of the primary goals of the ETEBA Education Committee is to bring relevant educational sessions and training resources to members that will help to make them even more successful.
ETEBA Educational Sessions are primarily focused on Bid Proposal Development, although sessions are held on other topics as well, such as Contracting Basics and other relevant topics that would assist member companies in staying current with business trends. The Proposal Development courses focus on every step of the proposal development process, from understanding of the Request for Proposals to preparing for Orals and participating in Debriefings.

Using funds raised from the annual ETEBA-hosted golf tournament, the Committee also organizes the Earn and Learn Scholarship Program which awards more than $15,000.00 annually to deserving students that will be attending an
accredited college, university or technical school. For more information about the Tennessee scholarship program click here and for more information about New Mexico funds click here.
Introduced this year in conjunction with the Oak Ridge Business Safety Partnership, the Education Committee is hosting a Safety Poster Contest for elementary and middle school age children. Click here to see the 2011 winning posters.
The Education Committee is chaired by Stephanie Long of the Safety and Ecology Corporation.
