PETER GREENWALT NAMED ETEBA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Oak Ridge, TN—The Energy, Technology and Environmental Business Association (ETEBA) announced today that it has named Peter Greenwalt as its Executive Director.  He replaces Alice Murphy, who has retired.  Formerly of Oak Ridge, Greenwalt spent more than 30 years with the U.S. Department of Energy.  He began his federal career in Oak Ridge Operations (ORO) where he served as Chief of the Budget Branch.  After 18 years at ORO he transferred to the Ohio Field Office as Director of the Budget Division. He was then selected as Chief Financial Officer and served as Director/Program Manager of the Columbus and Ashtabula Closure Projects.  Peter holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration Degrees from Virginia Tech.

Erich Evered, President of ETEBA, said today “Peter brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this position.  The Board of Directors and all of the ETEBA membership look forward to working with him.”   Peter and his wife Jane, a native of Clinton, are relocating to Knoxville from Richmond, Virginia.
